If snow is interrupting your life and is congesting your driveway, sidewalk, or your backyard, then a snow blower is your best bet to get rid of that unwanted snow. A snow blower is a typical device that are either electric or gas powered and are useful in removing snow from an area. A snow blower can be efficiently used to throw snow to another location or into a truck to be hauled away.

Snow blowers are available in a host of different models that range from the very small, capable of removing only several inches of light snow, to very large snow blowers that are mounted onto heavy duty winter service vehicles and capable of moving heavy snow. Snow blowers can generally be divided into two types that are single stage and two stage. Single stage snow blowers are usually light duty machines. These blowers use a single high-speed impeller to both move the snow into the machine and force it out the discharge channel. The impeller is usually in the form of two or more curved plastic paddles that move snow towards the centerline of the machine where the discharge channel is located.

The two stage snow blowers air bit different compared to the single stag snow blowers and have one or more low-speed metal augers that break up the snow and move it into a separate high-speed impeller. The main task of the impeller is to blow the snow out the discharge channel with considerable force.
